Pine: A warm, softwood with swirling grain and random knots, purposely distressed to give it a softened antique quality.
Veneer: Rift Cut Oak, Macassar Ebony, Zebra Wood, Wenge and Birds Eye Maple are all exotic veneers that are available on the contemporary doors.
In addition to the above wood species, decorative Rattan, Herringbone, Olive Ash Burl, and Bird's Eye Maple veneers are available as inserts.

Birds Eye Maple: A premium grade Maple with Birds Eye characteristics.
Rift-Cut Oak: A premium very consistent veneer developed in Europe. The process includes cutting the logs into veneer, dying them for consistent color, gluing the veneer into a block and re-cutting the block on an exact angle to create very consistent Rift-Cut Oak Veneer. The Rift-Cut Oak Veneer is also available in a horizontal or vertical fell face pattern in 17 standard finishes.
