What wood species are available? Wood-Mode and Brookhaven use Maple, Heart Wood Maple, Cherry, Knotty Cherry and Pine in the construction of their cabinetry. Wood-Mode also uses Rift-Cut Oak, Wenge, Zebra Wood, Macassar Ebony and Birds Eye Maple. Brookhaven also uses laminates to give the look of Wenge, Zebrano and Rift-Cut Oak.

What does a kitchen designer do? A kitchen designer is trained in the details required to professionally execute the technical aspects of the design while developing a plan that is unique to each client.

What does an interior designer do? An interior designer is an integral part of the overall plan and design. The kitchen designer, interior designer and client work together as a team to choose the finishes, styling for the cabinets, appliances, countertops, backsplash, flooring and wall color for the project.

Can I get a free estimate on my cabinets? A free estimate is available when existing plans and measurements are offered by the client. The estimate will be provided based on selections made from our showroom after a scheduled appointment.

Will a kitchen designer come to my house? A designer plans a site visit once a budget has been established, preliminary selections have been made, and a design deposit has been paid.
